China hands over two ships to Pakistan for security along CPEC sea route
Gwadar, Jan 15 (IBNS): China has handed over two ships to the Pakistan Navy in an attempt to provide joint security along the sea route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), media reports said.
On Saturday, the Chinese vessels were handed over to the Commander of the Pakistan Navy Vice-Admiral Arifullah Hussaini, Dawn reported.
Recently built in China, the ships will be part of the Pakistani navy.
The ships have been named after two nearby rivers Hingol and Basol.
