Hundred Afghans stranded in India leave for Kabul
New Delhi/UNI: Over 100 Afghan nationals stranded in India left for Kabul on Iran's Mahan Airlines flight, Puneet Singh Chandhok, President Indian World Forum, said on Saturday.
He said the Indian government should similarly facilitate the early evacuation of Afghan Hindus and Sikhs from Kabul.
“About 100 stranded Afghans in India left for home yesterday through @MahanAirlines from Delhi.
“Requesting @PMOIndia @HMOIndia @MEAIndia for considering and issuance of visas to Afghan Hindu Sikhs, facilitate and organise their early evacuation from Kabul before they are targeted again,” he tweeted.
