Islamabad, Apr 4 (IBNS): Pakistani politician Imran Khan on Monday slammed country's PM Nawaz Sharif over the Panama papers leak.

Khan  urged National Accountability Bureau, the Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) and the Election Commission of Pakistan to take action against the Pakistan PM.

"Our stance vindicated again as Sharif's wealth stashed abroad exposed. NAB, FBR & ECP must take action," Khan tweeted.

"After The Guardian revelations Iceland's prime minister resigning & snap elections in the offing. The ECP must move on this," the former cricketer turned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief said.

In one of the worst scandals involving huge number of  rich and famous  across the globe a  massive leak of 11.5 million tax documents has exposed the secret offshore dealings of aides to Russian president Vladimir Putin, Chinese Premier Xi Jinping, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and celebrities including Barcelona forward Lionel Messi and actor Jackie Chan, reports said.

500 Indians are also named in the documents.
