Islamabad, Aug 11 (IBNS): Pakistan's Prime Minister-elect Imran Khan will take oath on Aug 18.

The decision has been announced by his party Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).

The announcement put an end to all speculations over his probable oath-taking on  Aug 14.

Aug 14 is also celebrated in Pakistan as Independence Day.

Khan, who was also a cricketer and led Pakistan to World Cup victory in 1992, will be the 21st PM of the country.
