Malala Yousafzai graduates high school, makes her Twitter debut

London, July 8 (IBNS): Nobel Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai, who has become nearly an icon for female education over the years, has graduated from Edgbaston High School, UK on Friday.

The day also marked her debut in micro-blogging site Twitter.

In her first tweet, she wrote: "Hi, Twitter."

In the very next tweet, she posted: "Today is my last day of school and my first day on @Twitter [THREAD]."

Her account is followed by whooping 466K people.

She is following the account of 'Malala Fund'.
