Pakistan former PM Imran Khan's security withdrawn
Islamabad/UNI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill on Friday said that the security provided to former premier Imran Khan has been withdrawn.
Gill said in a tweet, "The security provided to the former prime minister by the Islamabad police was withdrawn."
Gill said that all security officials of Islamabad police were called back on Thursday evening.
He lamented that a convict Maryam Nawaz was given prime minister-level security while on the other hand, security has been withdrawn from Imran Khan.
"These are cheap tactics of the imported government," ARY News quoted Shahbaz Gill as saying.
Earlier, PTI leader Asad Umar said that they have received a threat alert regarding Khan's security.
While talking to the ARY News, Umar said that Khan's life is in danger and they will file a case against the Shehbaz Sharif led-government if something happens to Imran.
