Pakistan is hell for Hindu community members: Bangladesh Bishwa Hindu Parishad

| @indiablooms | Oct 29, 2021, at 10:29 pm

Dhaka/UNI: Bangladesh Bishwa Hindu Parishad on Friday said that Pakistan has now become a hell for the Hindu community.

This was stated on Friday in front of the National Press Club, where the leaders various Hindu organizations of Bangladesh formed a human chain and demanded that the government of Pakistan put a stop to the vandalism, arson, rape and torture of minorities by extremist groups in the country.

They shouted slogans like 'Fire on Imran Khan's mattress together, why my sister was raped' during the protest.

At the end of the rally, the leaders and activists of the council marched in a procession and seiged the Pakistan Embassy in Bangladesh.

They strongly demanded that no minority, including Hindus, be persecuted anywhere in the world.

Sumon Kumar Roy, president of the Bangladesh Hindu Bar Council, said Hindus and other minorities in Pakistan have to live as second-class citizens. They are discriminated against in every step of life including getting housing and government facilities.

Many Hindu families are now being forced to convert to Islam as they cannot bear the inhuman torture and persecution.

General Secretary Kapil Krishna Mandal said a temple in the Karak district of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was set on fire and vandalized.

Idols of various deities were thrown in the streets. Though Hindus all over Pakistan are angry over this incident, Imran Khan's administration has not taken any action so far. The Hindus of that area could not protest out of fear of retaliation.

The leaders of the Hindu Parishad said, "Pakistan has become a failed state when the world is talking about humanity today.

Pakistan needs to be identified as a militant state and a supporter of IS.

More than 50 members of Bishwa Hindu Parishad, Bangladesh Hindu Parishad, Bangladesh Hindu Jub Parishad and Hindu Swechchhasebak Jote were present at the rally.

In a brief speech, Kapil Mandal, general secretary of the World Hindu Council, said, "We have organized a human chain at Shahbagh in Comilla."

"We want to be in harmony with all religions," he said.
