Pakistan Minister says terrorism spread due to weak education system in country
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood has said terrorism spread in Pakistan due to the country's weak education system.
“Madressahs give education to children and don’t seek even a penny from the government,” he was quoted as saying by Daily Times.
“We ended the void between the state and madressahs," he said.
He made the comments during a ceremony in Islamabad.
