Pakistan: Terrorist killed during operation conducted in North Waziristan

Peshawar: A terrorist was killed during an intelligence-based operation conducted in Spinwam area of North Waziristan district of Pakistan on Wednesday, media reports said on Friday.

Inter-Services Public Relations issued statement said the IBO was conducted on the reported presence of a terrorist in the area.

It said that during intense exchange of fire, a terrorist identified as Saddam was killed, reported Dawn News.

Weapons and ammunition were reportedly recovered from the spot.

The statement said the slain terrorist was an expert in IEDs planting and was involved in terrorist activities, targeted killing and kidnapping for ransom, reports Dawn News.
