Pakistan: Three Levies men among five injured in separate attack incidents in Balochistan

Two armed attacks in  Chagai and Pishin districts of Balochistan region of Pakistan on Saturday left at least five people, including three Levies personnel, hurt, media reports said.

Three Levies personnel sustained injuries in an attack by unidentified gunmen at a check post on the Quetta-Taftan highway in Chagai, reported Dawn News.

Officials told the newspaper a group of armed men raided a pickup in the Gazan area near Dalbandin and indiscriminately fired at the Levies personnel on duty at the post.

The personnel returned and an exchange of heavy gunfire ensued which left three Levies men injured.

According to reports, the attackers escaped from the area.

The injured personnel were shifted to the hospital for treatment.

In another incident, at least two employees of Pishin Cadet College were injured after unidentified armed men on motorcycles opened fire on them.
