Ghotki: The death toll in the railway mishap in Pakistan's Ghotki region touched 62 on Tuesday, media reports said.

Even after 30 hours, the track has not been cleared.

Over 100 people were hurt as two trains collided near Ghotki in the wee hours on Monday.

Seven more bodies were recovered from the spot, rising the death toll in the incident.

Authorities hope the track can be cleared on Tuesday.

According to local officials, the rescue operation was hampered at night because of the dark night and the arrival of heavy machinery was delayed due to difficult routes, reports Geo News.
