Save alma mater JNU: Fomer Nepal PM Bhattarai

Kathmandu/UNI: Former prime Minister of Nepal Baburam Bhattarai on Monday extended solidarity with Jawaharlal Nehru University and said the "holy temple of learning" should be protected.

"My heart-felt solidarity with my alma mater JNU!," Bhattarai said in a Twitter post, voicing solidarity with JNU from alumni and well wishers from Nepal.

"Please save this holy temple of learning!," Bhattarai, a former student of the university, said, describing JNU as "the beacon of New Enlightenment !"
