Kabul, Sept 6 (IBNS): Suspected Taliban terrorists have beheaded the acting chief of the regional human rights commission of Ghor province of Afghanistan, media reports said on Friday.

The local officials confirmed that the Taliban militants beheaded Abdul Samad Amiri, the acting chief of the regional human rights commission of Ghor province earlier today, Khaama Press reported.

Deputy provincial governor of Ghor Habibullah Radmanish confirmed to the news agency that the dead body of Amiri was discovered along the Kabul-Ghor highway on Thursday morning.

Amiri was reported abducted by terrorists from Jalrez district of Maidan Wardak province three days earlier.

The Taliban group did not comment on the issue so far.
