Teenage boy killed in Pakistan for 'honour' killing

Islamabad, May 12 (IBNS): In the name of honour killing, a teenage boy was beaten to death  by his paternal uncle, media reports said on Friday.

Police told Geo News the boy believed to be 18 was beaten to death by his uncle and then buried inside his home.

The victim's granddaughter brought the matter to the attention of the police.

"The teenager's body was unearthed from his residence's garden and was shifted to a hospital for autopsy," officials told Geo News on Friday.

The accused has reportedly fled from the spot.

Investigations are currently going on into the matter.
