Trawler capsizes in Bangladesh, 9 killed

Dhaka, July 23 (IBNS): At least nine people were killed as a trawler capsized on the Arialkhan River at Narsingdi area in Bangladesh on Saturday, media reports said.

Local media reports said quoting police that the mishap occurred at around 11:30am.

Local police OC Azharul Islam was quoted as saying by bdnews24.com: "Most of the passengers managed to swim to the shore. Bodies of nine people, including children have been found."

Ten people are still missing.

Fire Service divers are conducting search operation to find them.
