You are a thief: Man heckles Pakistan representative to UN in New York

| @indiablooms | Aug 13, 2019, at 12:37 pm

New York, Aug 13 (IBNS): Pakistan's permanent representative to the United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi, was heckled and abused by a man from his own country at an event here.

The entire incident was recorded and went viral on internet.

As Lodhi was taking questions, the man asked whether the Pakistan representative had time to answer his questions and then continued to call her a "thief".

"What are you doing for last 15-20 years. What are you doing? You are not representing us," said the man.

When Lodhi asked him to stop, the man said, "I am not going to stop. It is not against the law."

Saying that was not the manner of asking any question, Lodhi proceeded to climb stairs prompting the man to further say, "You guys are stealing our money. You guys are thieves....You don't deserve to represent Pakistan......Shame on you."
