Independence Day special menu from ITC Royal Bengal and ITC Sonar

Kolkata/IBNS: ITC Royal Bengal and ITC Sonar in Kolkata is prepared to showcase India’s culture and diversity through its dining outlets.

Grand Market Pavilion at ITC Royal Bengal, which draws inspiration from the iconic Hogg Market (New Market) of Kolkata, serves local, Indian and global fare. Cuisines from north-east India, dishes from Kitchens of India and the brand’s signature kebaberie and the dessert studio are some of the specialities here.

On August 15, they are holding a brunch (one pm to 3.30pm) pegged at Rs 2150 plus tax per head. 

Peshawri presents an ambience reminiscent of the rustic charm of the North West Frontier, with delicacies cooked in the traditional clay tandoor, ranging from kebabs to vegetarian dishes to Indian breads. Do not forget to try their Dal Bukhara.

On August 15, lunch (12.30pm – 3.30pm) is pegged at Rs 5,000 plus tax for a family of three; Rs 1,000 plus tax per head for each additional member, up to a total of eight people.

You may also order through their delivery menu, ‘Gourmet Couch by ITC Hotels’ and ‘Biryani & Pulao Collection’.

Gourmet Couch by ITC Hotels includes dishes from their signature brands and award winning kitchens, such as Dum Pukht Biryani, Dal Bukhara, Tandoori Aloo, Murgh Khurchan to Mapo Tofu, to name a few.

Set menus are priced at Rs 1,947 plus tax for two, and can be availed until August 31.

The Biryani & Pulao Collection includes a wide range where a portion of Biryani (chicken, seafood, mutton or vegetarian) is suitable for one with a choice of either Mirch Baingan ka Salan or any one of the three raitas (Anar Kheera Raita/ Onion Pachadi/ Sarson Raita). The popular dessert called Shahed-E-Jaam is offered complimentary. Highlights include Nimona Mirch Pulao, Keema Pulao, Gosht Bohri Biryani Metiabruz Biryani and Bibi ka Murgh Pulao to name a few.

The range starts upwards of Rs 625 plus tax

ITC Hotels has assured that they are following DNV Platinum Certified WeAssure Hygiene & Safety protocols.

Also, the packaging, in environment friendly corrugated paper boxes, has been planned after study of factors such as temperature, distance travelled, mode of transport, consumption techniques, re-heating norms and more.
