Shahee paneer and keema ranked among world's best stews and curries

Indian dishes shahee paneer and keema have been featured in the popular food guide Taste Atlas’s list of the world's best-rated stews and curries.

While Shahee Paneer has been ranked 5th in popularity, Keema appeared on the 10th position.

A group of international food experts evaluated various stews and curries from different parts of the world, and scored them out of 5 to compile the list of the best dishes.

The March 18, 2023 post has already garnered over 3.4k likes and several hundred comments.

The top-rated stew was the Phaneang curry from Thailand, while the kare from Japan came in second place.

The third position was taken by China's signature Sichuan hot pot, followed by the Vietnamese stew in fourth place. Interestingly, shahi paneer was ranked fifth with the same rating of 4.7 as the other runners-up on the list.

Bhrawan Da Dhaba in Amritsar was considered to be the best place to enjoy this curry.

The keema from the iconic Leopold Café in Mumbai was ranked 10th with a rating of 4.6, while chicken korma was in 16th position with a rating of 4.5.

The humble dal and Goan vindaloo both had a rating of 4.4 and secured positions 26 and 31 respectively. Pav bhaji and dal tadka were in the 39th and 40th positions respectively.

Interestingly, chicken tikka masala made it to the list at number 38 but was labeled as a British curry rather than an Indian one.
