Shoe hurled at Kejriwal at press conference
New Delhi, Apr 9 (IBNS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was on Saturday attacked with shoe at a press conference while he was announcing details regarding the odd-even scheme for cars which will start again from April 15.
While making the announcement, a political activist hurled a shoe at Kejriwal which missed him narrowly.
The activist, identified as Ved Prakash, said he was the Aam Aadmi Sena, a lesser known breakaway faction of Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party.
Soon after he hurled the shoe and a CD at Kejriwal, the activist was taken away by police.
Before throwing the shoe, the man was seen shouting and seeking Kejriwal's response on a sting operation related to the CNG fitness scheme.
