Kolkata, May 7 (IBNS): West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi was admitted to a privately-run hospital at Minto Park area in south Kolkata on Sunday morning, soon after he bled from nose, reports said.

According to reports, the 82-year-old Governor had complained of nosebleeds in early morning and he was rushed to Belle Vue Clinic, where he is currently being treated in a stable condition.

"A four-member medical team has been formed for Governor's treatment and Keshari Nath Tripathi has been shifted to ICU as he needs a close monitoring," a medical officer of Belle Vue Clinic told IBNS.

Hours after Tripathi was hospitalized, Trinamool Congress (TMC) secretary general Partha Chatterjee, CPI-M leader Sujan Chakraborty and a BJP delegation met him at the hospital.
