BCCI removes N Srinivasan as ICC Chairman

Mumbai, Nov 9 (IBNS) The Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) on Monday removed N Srinivasan as the International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman, according to reports.

Srinivasan, who was serving as the ICC Chairman, was elected by the BCCI to represent the country's cricketing body in the international stage was removed earlier today in the BCCI annual general meeting.

BCCI is likely to write to ICC to cancel Srinivasan's candidature from the international governing body, as Shashank Manohar, the current BCCI President is likely to fill in his shoes and complete the term which will end on June 2016.
