Shashank Manohar creates history, becomes first elected independent ICC Chairman

Dubai, May 12 (IBNS) Shashank Manohar has been elected by the Board unanimously and unopposed as the Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) following the ICC Full Council’s approval of constitutional amendments proposed by the Board following its April meeting.

Kolkata, May 11 (IBNS) Former International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Shashnak Manohar, who resigned on Tuesday from his posts, said it would have been unethical for him to remain in the ICC after he submitted his resignation letter to the BCCI.
