WC: Italy's Gianluigi Buffon to miss opener

Manaus, une 14 (IBNS):Italy's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has indicated he is likely to miss their opening FIFA World Cup game against England on Saturday due to injury.

"Hello everyone ... life is beautiful and I am still in your debt .... it will not be a game skipped or missed another world to make me change my mind," he tweeted.

He said, "Then there are many ways to be important, even if you are not the protagonist in the field ... so … go on Salvatore … come on my magical guys … FORZA ITALY, my great love! "

Both the sides will play their first match of the tournament on Saturday.
