Petrol, diesel price slashed, effective from midnight

New Delhi, Mar 31 (IBNS): The price of petrol got reduced by 1.46 rupees and diesel by 1.53 per litre, which will be effective from Friday midnight.

The new price of petrol and diesel becomes 66.16 rupees and 54.88 rupees respectively.

This is the first reduction in price after seven hikes since September last year.
