India records 16,577 new COVID-19 cases, 120 deaths

New Delhi: India continued to witness a spike as the country registered 16,577 new COVID19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health.

During the same period, the country also recorded 120 deaths due to the virus.

12,179 people were also discharged from hospital during the same period.

There are 1,10,63,491 COVID-19 cases recorded in the country so far.

There are 15598 active cases in the country at present.

So far, 10750680 people have been discharged from hospital.
