India records 876 new COVID-19 cases
New Delhi: India recorded an increase of 55,079 COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday.
The country also witnessed 876 deaths during the same period.
The death toll due to the disease is currently 51797.
With the new figures unveiled by the Ministry of Health, the total number of COVID-1patients in the country now stands at 27,02,743.
This includes 6,73,166 active cases and 19,77,780 discharged people.
