India's Covid-19 tally touches 85.5 lakh mark with close to 46,000 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: The Novel Coronavirus tally in India on Monday touched 85.5 lakh mark with the reporting of close to 46,000 cases in the last 24 hours.

The country of 1.3 billion reported 45,903 infections in 24 hours between Sunday and Morning mornings.

The Health Ministry of India also revealed that 490 people, who were infected with the virus, died in the same period.

Thus, the Covid-19 toll has now touched 1,26,611.

The active cases in the country are now little over five lakh as 79 lakh Covid-19 patients have now recovered.
