Actress Kavya Madhavan probed by Crime Branch

Kochi: Malayalam actress Kavya Madhan, wife of actor Dileep, is being probed by the Crime Branch officials investigating the 2017 Actress Assault case at Aluva on Monday.

She is being questioned at her house 'Padmasarovaram' by a Crime Branch team headed by DYSP Byju Paulose.

Earlier, the Crime Branch issued a notice to the actress to appear for the questioning at 1130 hours.

The Crime Branch probe was followed by Dileep's brother-in-law's statement that the animosity between Dileep and the actor led to the assault, in which 10 people were allegedly involved.

The police is also trying to collect evidence of real estate and other business deals between Dileep, his former wife Manju Warrior and the actor.
