BJP chief Amit Shah meets President of India Ram Nath Kovind

New Delhi, July 26 (IBNS): BJP president Amit Shah on Wednesday called on President Ram Nath Kovind here.

The official Twitter page of the President said: "BJP President Shri Amit Shah called on #PresidentKovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan."

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President M Hamid Ansari also met the President.

Kovind took oath as the President of India on Tuesday.

He stepped into the shoes of former President Pranab Mukherjee.
