Chinese Army handover missing Arunachal teen to Indian Army
New Delhi/IBNS: The teen from Arunachal Pradesh, who had gone missing along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China, has been handed over to the Indian Army, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju tweeted today.
"The Chinese PLA has handed over the young boy from Arunachal Pradesh Shri Miram Taron to Indian Army. Due procedures are being followed including the medical examination," Rijiju tweeted.

Earlier, BJP MP Tapir Gao had highlighted concerns that the teen was abducted by China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) from the Lungta Jor area inside the Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district, and his whereabouts were not known.
On January 25, Rijiju had tweeted a statement saying that some people have expressed fears that the youth from Arunachal Pradesh had been taken into custody by the Chinese PLA.
On Tuesday, the minister said that the safe return of the boy is a priority and urged the people to be careful in making statements about the boy.
The Indian Army approached the Chinese side on January 19, asking for assistance in tracing and returning the teen, in case the PLA had taken him in their custody.
According to an NDTV report, Johnny Yuing, who went with Taron on that day, said they had gone hunting at Siyangla area but could not go further due to darkness. Suddenly Chinese PLA came and took Miriam away while Yuing managed to escape from being caught, he added.
He then informed the nearest Indian army check post about the abduction. The next day, he reached Tuting and informed Miriam's family and the Indian Army camp at Tuting.
"The youth landed up on the Chinese side as there is no official wall or demarcation of LAC in the area, covered with jungle. They have detained him, due paperwork is being done as per the established protocol," Lt Col Harshvardhan Pandey had told news agency UNI.
