India records 58,077 fresh COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 58,077 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Friday.

During the same period, 657 people died due to the disease.

India's active caseload currently stands at 6,97,802.

Active cases stand at 1.64 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 97.17 percent.

1,50,407 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.
