Maharashtra: Shinde tells Sanjay Raut not to be afraid if he hasn't done anything wrong

Aurangabad: Maharashtra Chief minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday questioned as to why Sena spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut was afraid, if he hasn't done anything wrong.

Shinde was replying to a query over the issue of ongoing investigation by the Enforcement Directorate at the residence of Raut in Mumbai.

He said Raut was one of tallest leaders in the MVA government and he should wait for the outcome of the present inquiry.

The Chief Minister also denied the possibility of retaliatory action and said that even before this, the investigation agencies worked.

Shinde also urged people not to come to them fearing ED action. When asked about his Saturday night urgent visit to Delhi, the Chief Minister said, "We came here to solve the problems of Marathwada and related regions."
