Nitish has committed political suicide by joining the company of BJP, says Lalu

Patna, Aug 8 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Tuesday said Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has committed political suicide by joining hands with the BJP.

“Nitish Kumar has committed political suicide by joining the company of the BJP. The BJP will spare only two seats that he had won in the last Lok Sabha polls,” said Prasad, talking to the media in Patna on Tuesday, and asked, “Does any party part with its sitting seats?”

“At that time, he (Nitish Kumar) will have no option other than accepting this humiliating offer and he will repent for his decision,” he said.

The BJP-led NDA had won 31 seats out of Bihar’s total 40 LS seats in the last 2014 general elections.

The JD-U led by Kumar, on the other hand, had emerged victorious on only two seats—Purnia and Nalanda—out of 40 it had contested.

Prasad also accused the chief minister of singing paens to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Nitish Kumar aabhi Modi ka  jaikara kar rahe hain,” he alleged.

The RJD chief alleged there was conspiracy being hatched at the level of the BJP to eliminate Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi.
