New Delhi, Jan 13 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday greeted the nation on the occasion of Pongal, Lohri and Makar Sankranti.

President Mukherjee said, "Warm greetings to my fellow citizens on the auspicious occasion of Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal."

The President urged the people to celebrate the festivities with love and kindness.

"Let us celebrate these harvest festivals with gaiety and fervour, promoting love and understanding amongst all."
