Ecuador: Plane crash kills 22
Quito, Mar 16 (IBNS): At least 22 people were killed as the army plane in which they were traveling crashed in Ecuador's Amazon region on Tuesday.
President Rafael Correa confirmed and mourned the death of 22 people in the mishap on his Twitter page.
"The Israeli-built Arava plane crashed at 14:30 local time (19:30 GMT) in the eastern province of Pastaza," BBC reported.
The cause of the mishap is still not known.
