Iraq: IS claims responsibility for mall attack
Baghdad, Jan 12 (IBNS): Militant group IS has claimed responsibility for the attack on a shopping mall in Iraqi capital Baghdad on Monday which killed at least 18 people.
The attack on the al-Jawhara shopping centre left 50 others wounded.
Gunmen stormed into the mall after setting off a car bomb.
"When security forces stormed the building, two assailants detonated explosive belts, while two others were shot dead," BBC reported quoting police sources.
