Trump Slammed Over Greenland
Mr President, f**k off: Danish Lawmaker Anders Vistisen slams Trump over Greenland claims
Davos: Danish MEP Anders Vistisen has reignited controversy by repeating his infamous "f**k off" remark directed at US President Donald Trump over Greenland sovereignty claims, nearly a year after his original outburst.
“Let me put this in words you might understand: Mr President, f**k off," Anders Vistisen said in the European Parliament on Tuesday.
Vistisen, a Danish member of the European Parliament, first delivered the blunt rebuke in January 2025 during a session addressing Trump's proposal to buy Greenland, emphasising its 800-year integration into the Danish kingdom and declaring it "not for sale".
This comes as Trump, in his recent Truth Social post on Tuesday, shared an altered image of a map which showed the American flag draped over Canada, Greenland, and Venezuela as expanded US territory.
The altered photo modifies an original White House image from August 18, 2025, capturing Trump with European leaders during a Ukraine war discussion.
In the original, a map of Ukraine appeared in the meeting room; the edited version replaces it with a North American map marking Canada, Greenland, and Venezuela as US territories.
A second doctored image depicts Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Senator Marco Rubio planting a US flag in Greenland labelled "US Territory Est. 2026".

The post revives Trump's past comments on annexing Greenland for national security against Russia or China, including threats of force against Denmark.
