Prince Philip’s funeral to take place on Apr 17 : Reports

London/UNI: Prince Philip’s funeral will take place on April 17 in Windsor, reported Britain's national broadcaster BBC  on Saturday, citing the Buckingham Palace.

Prince Philip was Queen Elizabeth II's husband and the longest-serving consort of any British monarch, he passed away on Friday morning at Windsor Castle at the age of 99 years.

As per the wishes of the Prince he will not have a state funeral.

The funeral would start with a nationwide minute of silence at 3:00 GMT at St George's Chapel.
