South Korean Defense Minister assures action against any further North Korean attack

Seoul, Aug 21 (IBNS) Han Min-koo, South Korea's Defense Minister reassured his countrymen on Friday, vowing an action against any further attack by neighbour North Korea.
The Defense Minister was quoted by South Korean news agency Yonhap as saying, "If North Korea pushes ahead with additional provocations, our military will retaliate harshly and make them pay a bitter price."

Han added, "Anti-North loudspeaker broadcasts constitute due countermeasures we took in response to the North's mine provocations."

The Defense Minister stressed on their relationship with the USA and the joint initiative they have taken to deter any provocations by Kim Jong-Un and his men.

"Our military will make all-out efforts in ensuring public safety and keep the public well-informed of all the developments that will take place," Han added.
