UK: Controlled explosion carried out at Man U stadium, match called off
London, May 15 (IBNS): After finding a suspect package ahead of Manchester United's match against Bournemouth, controlled explosion was carried out at Old Trafford on Sunday, officials said.
The match was later abandoned.
Bomb disposal squad reached the spot and conducted the explosion.
Greater Manchester Police tweeted: "A controlled explosion has just been carried out within the stadium by bomb disposal experts at Old Trafford. More to follow."
