Salman Khan faces Twitterati's ire over Sushant Singh Rajput's death, accused of ruining Vivek Oberoi's career

Mumbai/IBNS: After Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was on Monday targetted by several Twitterati who are mourning the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Khan was even accused by the Twitter users of destroying the career of Vivek Oberoi who had once dated Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the ex-girl friend of the Dabangg star.

One user said, "U criminal destroyed the career of Aishwarya Rai, Vivek Oberoi, Arjit Singh and many more & u also banned Sushant from his productions.
Here is Arjit singh post some years ago."

Another user said, "You crushed Vivek Oberoi You crushed Arijit Singh You crushed Mithoon None of you would be missing him because he was an outcast outsider. Best is Kangana Ranaut for you old lump of corruptions who ignores you all & you guy's are dwarfs in reel & real life."

One Cristina Scorpya tweeted, "Sushant, wasn't the first one! Let's not forget Vivek Oberoi! Same name... Salman Khan..."

In an infamous press conference dating back to 2003, Oberoi had accused Khan of drunkenly calling him 41 times and threatening to kill him.

The conflict had taken place over Oberoi's reported real-life romance with Aishwarya. The relationship was reportedly not accepted by Aishwarya's ex-boy friend Khan.

Khan also found some support in the micro-blogging site as few Twitter users have defended the superstar.

User with name Devil VIshal tweeted, "Salman Khan never stopped anyone from working with Vivek Oberoi, He even worked with brother it’s just he parted his ways from Vivek and was happy in his own world , then what’s the sense in targeting him now ?"

A 'Salman Fan' said, "Vivek Oberoi still working in Industry, his last movie based on life of Modi, verdict : Disaster, Arijit Singh still singing & working for bollywood, Aishwarya enjoying her married life. And BJP Bhakts still targeting Salman Khan for Sushant Death because of Krk's fake tweet."

Khan mourned the death of Sushant, who committed suicide at his flat in Mumbai's Bandra on Sunday, tweeting, "U will be missed ... #RIPSushant"

The suicide of Sushant had earlier triggered a much-talked-about 'nepotism' debate on Twitter, targetting Bollywood's leading contemporary actress Bhatt and celebrated filmmaker Johar in the micro-blogging site.

Several Twitterati have lashed out at Bhatt and Johar for allegedly encouraging nepotism in Bollywood while Sushant with no lineage in Bollywood was trying to climb the ladder in Tinseltown.
