Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan on Thursday rubbished the news report claiming he had recovered from Novel Coronavirus or Covid-19, giving a strong message on social media.

Retweeting a news bulletin, Bachchan in strong words said, ".. this news is incorrect , irresponsible , fake and an incorrigible LIE !!"

Bachchan and his actor son Abhishek had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jul 11.

Both were shifted to hospital on the same day.

On Jul 12, Bachchan's daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya had tested positive for the contagion.

Though initially Aishwarya and Aradhya were in home quarantine, later the two were shifted to hospital.
