Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner Shah Rukh Khan, who suffered a heat stroke after the first playoff match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Tuesday, is now "doing well", the actor's manager Pooja Dadlani said.

In an Instagram story, Pooja wrote, "To all of Mr. Khan's fans and well wishers- he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers and concern."

Earlier, actress Juhi Chawla, who is also the KKR co-owner and SRK's close friend, said the 58-year-old superstar will also attend the IPL final to be played between his team and either of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals on Sunday.

Juhi told News 18, "Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals."

After suffering a heat stroke, SRK was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad, where the temperature was as high as 45 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.

The actor's wife Gauri Khan visited the hospital shortly after the news of his ailment broke out.

Accompanied by his children, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan, the King Khan greeted the audience following KKR's impressive win over Sunrisers Hyderabad, which secured their place in the IPL 2024 finals.

He even delighted his fans with his iconic pose amid chants of his name.
