'I haven't got opportunity like this...': Mrunal Thakur post Sita Ramam success
Indian actor Mrunal Thakur mesmerised her fans by featuring in Telugu film Sita Ramam, which has earned both meaty numbers in the box office as well as positive reviews.
Mrunal shared screen space with Dulquer Salmaan and Rashmika Mandanna in the film, which is streaming on OTT too.
Speaking to Hindustan Times post Sita Ramam success, Mrunal clearly stated she didn't get a similar opportunity earlier, especially in the Hindi film industry.

She said, "I don’t think I have ever been presented like this."
"I haven’t got an opportunity like this, I will be very honest. I have been really trying hard to convince filmmakers that I have potential to do better, but I just have not got the opportunities," Mrunal said.

She added, "I have been very happy with whatever I have got, but now it’s like I have to ask for it ‘sir please koi achhi film hai toh de do na’."
Mrunal, who began her acting career on television, has worked on a number of Hindi films including the very popular Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30.
In the same interview, Mrunal revealed some filmmakers are "trying to work hard" on her.
"They are trying to work hard on me, and I too want to work hard on characters. Too many years have gone down the lane, just to convince them 'yes, I deserve this'," she said.

Mrunal earned fame after featuring in her second daily soap Kumkum Bhagya.
She went on to make her Bollywood debut with Love Sonia in 2018.
Apart from Super 30, the 30-year-old actor has featured in Batla House, Toofan, Dhamaka, Jersey.
