Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita Dhulipala get engaged, Nagarjuna shares pictures

Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged on Thursday, revealed by actor Nagarjuna Akkineni with pictures from his son's engagement on social media.

Nagarjuna took to X to share pictures from the engagement ceremony, which took place at 9:42 am.

He wrote, "We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!!

"We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love."

As per reports, Naga and Sobhita met each other for the first time in 2022. They became friends and soon their friendship turned into courtship.

However, the couple kept their relationship under wraps leaving much to the imagination of their fans and followers.

The rumours of their dating emerged months after Naga was separated from his now ex-wife, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The two got divorced in 2021. 

Naga, who primarily works in Telugu films, was last seen in Custody, which was released in 2023. Sobhita, 32, was last seen in Monkey Man.
