Bhutan's Oscar nominee ‘Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom‘ continues to win hearts

Bhutan's foreign film nomination ‘Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom‘ is winning hearts as the movie has already clinched several prestigious awards so far.

It is the only film from Bhutan to be ever nominated for the Oscars.

The movie has won 20 awards and 10 nominations at various film festivals across the world, and is now live and running in the UK and receiving great reviews, reports The Bhutan Live.

The movie is a 2019 Bhutanese drama film directed by Pawo Choyning Dorji in his feature directorial debut.

The film had its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival.
