Rang Rasiya poster launched

Mumbai, Sept 26 (IBNS) The makers of 'Rang Rasiya' have released a brand new poster of the film, which features Randeep Hooda as Raja Ravi Varma, holding his muse, played by Nandana Sen, in an intimately passionate embrace. The poster sports an image that has been beautifully worked upon to make it look like a balanced mixture of a picture and a painting.

Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen’s upcoming film ‘Rang Rasiya’ explores the life and times of Raja Ravi Varma, the legendary Indian painter who dared to give faces to Indian Gods.

A target of mass hatred and controversy, Raja Ravi Varma was smitten by his muse throughout his life. The intensity of his passion for art reflected in his obsessive and sensuous relationship with his muse, which made the masses angry with her too.

Presented by Jayantilal Gada (Pen), Rang Rasiya is directed by Ketan Mehta, produced by Deepa Sahi and Aanand Mahendroo. It stars Randeep Hooda, Nandana Sen and newcomer Triptha Parashar in lead roles. ‘Rang Rasiya’ is set to release on November 7, 2014.
