'Ranbir Kapoor portraying me on-screen not true but...': Sourav Ganguly on his biopic
Kolkata/IBNS: The speculation of Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor being roped in to portray him in his biopic is an "untrue story", said cricket great and ex-BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly on Sunday.
When asked about the rumour, Ganguly on Sunday told India Blooms, "That story is not true. So we will talk about that some other time."

Ganguly made the comment when Ranbir touched down the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata as a part of his campaign for his upcoming film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
However, Ganguly took Ranbir's name when he was pestered about his choice of actors to essay him on-screen.
"Preference will always be him but that some other day," Ganguly said.
Earlier media reports had claimed that Ranbir was in talks with Sourav Ganguly in playing India's celebrated cricket captain on the big screen.
Ranbir too on Sunday clarified that the biopic was not offered to him.

When asked about the speculation, Ranbir told India Blooms, "I think Dada is a living legend, not just in India but around the world. A biopic on him will be very special. Unfortunately, I have not been offered the film. I think the makers are still writing the script."
"... I am not aware of the biopic on Dada," the actor added.
Ranbir was spotted playing some cricket with Ganguly at the Eden Gardens on Sunday evening.
