IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians register first win

| @indiablooms | Apr 12, 2023, at 02:58 pm

New Delhi: Mumbai Indians registered their first win of the 2023 IPL season at Arun Jaitley Stadium here on Tuesday.

The gutsiness of Jason Behrendorff, the masterclass of Piyush Chawla, the blitzkrieg of Rohit Sharma and the match-winning cameo of Tim David, played a stellar role in giving Mumbai the result they desired.

Batting first Delhi put on 172 in 19.4 and in reply, Mumbai crossed over the target in the last ball by taking a risky final two runs.

Mumbai will next host Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium.
