First Test: England 11/0 at tea, trail India by 84 runs

Trent Bridge/UNI: England were 11/0 at Tea in the second innings against India in the first Test of day three of the five-match series here on Friday.

England still trail by 84 runs.

Earlier, after Lunch England bundled out India for 278 in the first innings.

India lost another 5 wickets after Lunch in form of Rahul, Shardul, Jadeja, Shami and Bumrah.

However, it was heroics of Jadeja and Rahul who stitched partnership of 60 runs for sixth wicket and then at the end of the innings the tail enders especially Shami and Bumrah fought back adding 33 runs for 9th wicket stand frustrating England bowlers till the end.

It was tailenders who put up a brave effort putting up 63 useful runs on board for the team.

England openers Rory Burns (1), and Dom Sibley (5) were at the crease when Tea was declared.

For England Robinson came with figure of 5/85.
